Hello! My name is Kim Kane and my family and I have been customers of The G Farm for a couple of years now. As a wife and mother of three, I spend lots of time in the kitchen working to prepare the most nourishing and tasty meals possible for my family. Feeding them whole foods with as many real ingredients as possible is my goal, and being part of The G Farm’s CSA guarantees that the meats we are eating fit into my ideals.

Each month, I look forward to seeing Farmer Justin drive up and deliver our share! There have been times, however, that we’ve received a cut of meat or product that has been a mystery to me. Pork hocks, short ribs, lard?!? Instead of pushing them to the back of my freezer and forgetting about them, I started finding recipes that incorporated these foods.

Each month, I will be sharing some recipes with you that have become staples at my dinner table. Hopefully, you will find inspiration to cook an unexpected cut of meat or a new way to prepare some of your old favorites!
