The G Farm
We are a regenerative farm. We raise grass fed & pasture-raised beef, pork, chicken, turkey, & laying hens. We also offer seasonal veg, maple syrup, & honey.
Nobody has ever said they wished they spent less time outside on a day like this.Here’s to a good start to our winter ahead.
The unmeasurable benefits of faming with nature in mind are simply mind blowing. We are grateful to have a guest on our farm that chose to nest over the water. I believe she is a Green Herring. We spotted her a few weeks back and she now hatched out her chicks. They are here enjoying the diverse atmosphere getting fat and ready for flight.
June is dairy month but when the grass is growing so are all of our other pasture raised creatures. It’s about as busy as it gets on the farm with three batches of chicken, two herds of cows, three groups of pigs, our layer flock and some baby turkey… so yes we’re feeling it. It feels like I have butterflies in my tummy! We’re thankful and grateful to have such amazing partners here in the Fox Valley. It would be awesome if you would go down to Heckrodt Wetland Preserve and find a native plant to diversify your yard and to fill your tummy with some grass fed food.
