Beef

Cattle are raised exclusively on grass during the grazing season and are fed hay during the winter and early spring. They also receive supplemental free choice minerals to help keep them healthy. They are never given a grain of any kind. Each day during the grazing season the cows are moved to a new and fresh paddock that gives them and the soil the most benefit. Over the summer the cows will move around the whole farm about 5 times. This gives the grass time to grow deep roots and builds the soil. This model mimics nature and the natural patterns of bison crossing the planes each season.
