Beef

Cattle are raised exclusively on grass during the grazing season and are feed hay during the winter and early spring. They do receive supplemental free choice minerals to help keep them healthy. They are never given grain of any kind. Each day during the grazing season the cows are moved to a new and fresh paddock that gives them and the soil the most benefit. Over a summer the cows will move around the farm about 5 times. This give the grass time to grow deep roots and builds the soils. This model mimics nature and the natural patters of bison crossing the planes each season.
